ABOUT HPAB

CLINIC DATES

For the first 10 days of December HPAB will be trapping some of the stray population on a Caribbean island. Our goal is 300 plus dogs and we have assembled a team of 8 we believe that can accomplish that.

These stray dogs are barely existing with no access to food or fresh water and certainly no veterinary care to give them a fighting chance against heartworm disease, distemper and parvo.

Without this trapping effort these dogs‘ life expectancy is 1.5 years. Once trapped the local veterinarians will be altering the animals, and keeping them overnight, if needed. A plan for adopting them out is already in place.

HPAB was chosen for our proven skillset in animal handling and trapping. We are as fear free as possible, including and especially, with any dog or cat in the feral community. We have been deployed to this island on two separate occasions, once for cats and once for dogs. We were also asked to trap in Chernobyl and removed the first 12 non-radioactive puppies and put them on a freedom train.

HPAB is known in the animal rescue community for their kindness and compassion towards all fearful animals so we are called on these challenging missions. Please help us help the stray dogs by donating.
